Synopsis:

Charlie Madore isn’t your average teenager growing up in the 1980’s. When he dreams, he goes to three different places, Purple Doors, Field of Red Poppies and Maple Tree Forest. At Purple Doors, he is able to enter into people’s dreams or minds, where he often goes into evil people’s dreams or minds and kills them. When he kills them in a dream or by taking over their mind, they die in reality. At the Field of Red Poppies he communicates with God and God’s crow servants. They guide him and help him with their quest to diminish evil in the world. At Maple Tree Forest, Charlie starts off always being alone on a dirt path and cannot change the dream, like he can when he enters people’s dreams from Purple Doors. In Maple Tree Forest, he finds different poems written by Dylan Oliver Burton and as soon as he reads one of the poems, he wakes up. Eventually he meets Dylan in Maple Tree Forest and learns that they have more in common, than with anyone else that they have ever met before in their lives.

When Charlie is awake, he seems to most like an ordinary teenager. He spends time with his close friends Misa, Sam and Nathan, has a good relationship with his parents and goes to school. No one in his life knows about what happens when he dreams, or that he can sometimes see auras and can always see feelings orbs, except for his invisible friend Rem, who can’t be seen by anyone else besides him. Charlie isn’t sure exactly what Rem is, because God and his crow servants won’t tell him, but he knows he is definitely not human. Charlie writes all about his experiences in Dream World and in reality in his journal, which he won’t let anyone know he’s writing, even Rem.
